Supporting Democracy Worldwide: 40 Years of Bipartisan Partnership

International Republican Institute (IRI) Chairman Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-AK) and National Democratic Institute Chairman former-Senator Tom Daschle will host a Capitol Hill reception marking the 40th anniversaries of both institutes as they continue to work to promote democracy around the world against authoritarian regimes including those in Moscow, Beijing and Tehran.

Additional speakers and guests include IRI President Daniel Twining, NDI President Derek Mitchell, Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Ojksana Serhiyivna Markarova, Taiwan Ambassador to the United States Bi-Khim Hsiao, and Hong Kong democracy defender Dennis Kwok.
