Salman previously worked with IRI Indonesia, where he managed the Emerging Leaders Academies. During this time, he also helped implement discussions on youth politics and environment at the International Youth Day in 2021. In his current role at the Asia Foundation, he serves as a program assistant for the UKAid Forest and Land Governance program within their Environmental Governance Unit. Since 2018, he has been at the forefront of leading youth-driven initiatives addressing climate crises and promoting democratic engagement. These initiatives include social business movements and non-profit programs aimed at empowering youth and women, promoting sustainability, and amplifying voices on citizenship and climate crisis issues.
